Having puppies all the time will do a number on your carpets. Since I cant afford to have them professionally cleaned all the time and dont have time to pull out the steam cleaner everytime there is a soil, I found a product that works really well. I found it online here for a good price.

Most people don't realize how valuable a conversation can be with a professional. Most contractors are willing to share cleaning tips with homeowners. Great post!

Great Post! It's very important to take care of pet stains right away. The longer you leave the problem, the more damage the urine can do.

The key to removing the odor is actually getting under the carpet. You can read more details at our blog

I'm a pet owner myself and I share your sentiments. Due to my busy schedule, I just hire professional cleaners to clean my carpet at home.

Most people are un aware that the key to removing pet stains actually changes over time.

When the urine leaves it is acidic. Due to bacterial processes carbon dioxide and ammonia are released.

If the problem is on going the ammonia and uric acid react to create salt crystals.

Another issue, which arises in prolonged issues, is the fact that roughly 2% of the content are lipids, fats, which will repel cleaning agents.

In severe cases the lipids have to be removed before the salts and excess liquids can be removed. Once that is complete the bacteria, which lived on the uratic acids, can be eliminated along with any residual discoloration.

In some cases removal of the pad and sealing the sub floor may also be necessary, however the chemistry in this field has made tremendous strides in the past few years.

This can be quite a complicated process, but not impossible. This is a primer that the average consumer can use when interviewing companies for pet odor removal services.

You can also get more information on removing odors your self on my blog.
